    The Globe Theatre.

Globe Theater or The Globe is an English theater built in 1599 and destroyed on June 29, 1613 by a fire incident, being rebuilt in 1613 and permanently closed in 1642. Outside the current Globe Theater in Southwark, a modern building was built and reopened in 1997, about 200 meters from the original building, it is now called Shakespeare's Globe Theater or New Globe Theater. William Shakespeare was one of the owners, turning the theater into an arena for performances of plays such as Hamlet and King Lear. Closed in 1642, after the victory of the Puritans led by Oliver Cromwell in the English Civil War (1642-1649), the theater would be rebuilt and reopened in 1996. The reconstitution of the original features of the Globe was possible thanks to archaeological research, which discovered its foundations and the ruins of the Rose theater, built at the same time.

    The Hawley Arms.

Amy Winehouse's closest friends say that it was almost possible to say that her own home was on 2 Castlehaven Road in Camden Town - London. This is the address where The Hawley Arms is located; Amy Winehouse's favourite pub in London! There are plenty of stories... One of them is that Amy was not only a customer, people say that she often jumped 'over' the counter and served drinks to them as if she were a bartender. Also, many times she would sing a little bit at her pub from the heart. It is worth visiting this pub and Camden Town!

Tell us, how was your experience with this friend.

Write about your own experiences guiding as a Local Friend. You can write these on your own voice, relating the unique experiences you were able to give who was traveling with you. Example: "Last week, I guided a traveler from Spain who wanted to experience the city beyond the main attractions. We started with a quiet morning at a small coffee shop only locals know, then wandered through a street art alley where I could share the stories behind each mural. They told me it was their favorite part of the trip because it felt like discovering a secret side of the city, one they would have never found alone."
