About me
(English version bellow)
Hello, my name is Herbert, but my friends call me Herbie (like the car from the 50´s movie). Nowadays I work for a NGO that develops poor communities in several states of Brazil and I love my job. Since as a teenager I host friends from all over the world to visit my city and I really enjoy showing them the traditional touristic spots and those hidden places that only locals know. I am really interested in the local history of my city, the hidden beauties and the flavours of my city (it is all about food, right?). I have traveled the world for quite a bit now and I belive in diversity, I love a good chat about travels and to get to know people from different places. It will be a pleasure to meet you at this adventure!

City's Tips & Traps
Write about your own experiences guiding as a Local Friend. You can write these on your own voice, relating the unique experiences you were able to give who was traveling with you. Example: "Last week, I guided a traveler from Spain who wanted to experience the city beyond the main attractions. We started with a quiet morning at a small coffee shop only locals know, then wandered through a street art alley where I could share the stories behind each mural. They told me it was their favorite part of the trip because it felt like discovering a secret side of the city, one they would have never found alone."
