About me
I fell in love since first this me I came to Antigua now I live in Here, first time I arrived here was in 2013, later I got married with Marta and moved to the city , now I have two kids: Camila and Franco and we live 15 min away from Antigua in a beautiful spot with a nice view of the amazing volcán de fuego, I love history , in fact used to work as a Tour Leader in Central America , now I am just living here and taking care of my love ones while sharing my knowledge about the city, I am a foodie and also know how to appreciate a good craft beer , love to walk by the city, visit some places where you can find prices not for tourist as my self I keep being one :) , love to show people around, share some good stories and why not go for a salsa class with my friend Martin, for some reason I haven’t passed to the next level and still a salsa beginner , jijiji .
I am the kind of person who loves to find out facts about everything and later share with others, people is my thing , I want to keep improving my French and speak it fluidly soon . I hope this gives you a good feeling about my self !

Every year thousands of travelers arrive from different parts of the world during Holy Week, before the pandemic of you where walking by the city and the families were working on their carpets, they would’ve invite you to help and participate of the construction of this special and traditional carpets, the carpets are a tradition of many years that has gone from one generation to another, representing the arrival of Jesus to Jerusalem , the city of Antigua is completely cover with this carpets and then the Processions use this carpets as a symbol of respect . -

Ay Carmela restaurant
All right this restaurant was opened in Antigua 02/13/2021 it is a franchise ! This is a restaurant that has no vegan or vegetarian and all, but if you like birria sauce, cheese, extroverted smoothies and pizza tacos and everything for a very accesible price, you might like to give it a chance, have to say that their taco pizza is good and filling , they have a combo, is the family pack that would be enough food for 4 to 5 people for Q225 -

Ciudad Cayala
Most of people try to avoid Guatemala City and I understand , there are a lot of places to visit out of the capital, but, the truth is that there some options in the city as well besides the zoo, museums or even natural reserves there is also this high end spot of Guatemala with Designer’s stores and expensive restaurants, as well it has a very nice architecture and you can walk for free around Cayala city, if you are on a budget then all you have to do that a to walk to entrance and visit the super market or there is as well a Mac after the round about . -

Salsa Time !
Have you ever had some friend that they are short but ther energy levels in a super high !! That’s just Martin’s case , he is super friendly, he loves dancing, speak English and if you want to learn some steps he hecho s just the right guy to get some salsa clases , I have being with other friends before and everyone connects with him and have fun, so just let me know and we can go for salsa class! BTW the name of his studio is Salsa & Más Studio . -

La arrinconada waterfall
Let’s see the best way to do this is after breakfast , I a five hour hike more or less from Duenas that is located 15 min away from Antigua , you definitely need a local to do this hike! I would recommend to take snacks with you, a sandwich would be great, at least one liter off water, comfortable walking shoes, light clothes, sun block, camara, some cash and an extra layer . -

Valhalla macadamia Farm
What ever you go to do to Valhalla must be fun according to Vikings except that this time we are not fighting, what we are doing is getting a talk about everything you can do with the macadamias , a free explanation and some samplers of different products , the place it self is just amazing ! Under the macadamia trees there are a few tables where you can enjoy breakfast or brunch and after take a little nap at one of the hammocks, best part of the story you can go by chicken bus 🚌;) -
