I'm from Bogotá D.C., Colombia
Am a Dynamic person passionate for sports, reading, movies, outdoor plans, trips, languages, and some other topics
I’m a Humanities and Spanish Language teacher, born and raised in Bogotá, and I genuinely enjoy meeting new people, starting conversations, and sharing the best of my city with visitors, that kind of person who can help you go beyond the typical tourist experience.
Whether you’re visiting Bogotá for a couple of days or staying longer, I can recommend places and activities based on your interests, schedule, and the kind of experience you’re looking for. I can help you discover Bogotá’s main attractions, hidden gems, nearby destinations, local restaurants, hotels, nightlife spots, and places where you can simply relax and enjoy the city. I also know the city well enough to help you understand which areas are better suited for different activities and how to move around comfortably and safely, especially at night.
But most importantly, I enjoy the company itself. I’m very comfortable meeting people from different cultures, having long conversations, sharing local stories, walking around the city, or simply grabbing a coffee and seeing where the day takes us.
I’m also passionate about an active lifestyle — walking around Bogotá, going for a morning run, and cycling on weekends are some of my favorite ways to experience the city. And when we want to go a little farther, renting a car for the weekend can also be a great option to explore several places around Bogotá and make the most of our time together.
If you’re looking for someone who can be more than just a tour guide — someone local, friendly, easygoing, and genuinely interested in making your time in Bogotá memorable — I’d be happy to be your local friend. And while we explore the city, I can also help you practice Spanish and learn whatever interests you most about the language, whether it’s everyday expressions, Colombian slang, pronunciation, or simply feeling more confident having conversations with locals.
Going deep inside the city
I usually enjoy spending my day doing a lot of things, making the most of every hour during the day. We can split the day and organize some ideas to have little magical moments while you are here, including going to local cinemas, walking through most iconic places, going to the highest points of the city and get the best shot of the whole city, or simply walking by while having a coffee.
