About me

I'm a simple guy who loves traveling, food, learning languages and meeting new people. In my town, Modena, I'm kind of an expert, I know every single nook and cranny around here: where to eat the best food at the most affordable prices, where to buy anything you need, where to relax and enjoy the spring and summer breeze, where to throw a party, where to meet people, how to deal with locals. But my knowledge and expertise isn't limited to my town, as I also lived in other parts of Italy (Milan, Rome, Bologna, Mantua) and due to my personality I've always been the one searching for people and places, I can't bare to not socialize. I like spending time alone, but after a while I need people to talk to and to share experiences with. I consider myself outgoing and spontaneous, I like talking about anything with no taboos or strings attached, and I aim at spending most of my time doing things that I love.

A day with me includes

Come and taste the best Italian food in the whole country!

Modena, my hometown and city where I actually live in, is the hometown of the best world-famous Italian dishes: lasagne, tortellini, ragù, ham, gnocco fritto and more. If you want to taste real Italian cuisine, at an affordable price and an unforgettable taste, let me be your guidance. Besides food, I also know all kinds of places around here, and we can basically do anything you want, and I assure you it'll be fun and engaging!

How To Find The Best Food In Italy

This tip I\'m giving you applies to my town but also to any other Italian town, including major cities:
When you\'re in Italy traveling and walking around, and your stomach begins to gurgle, and your brain tells you you\'re surrounded by amazingly good food all around, stop for a while and remember this: when you see big groups of tourists entering a restaurant, it\'ll probably be a tourist trap.
A tourist trap is a restaurant where the food isn\'t as good as it should be, and worst of all it\'s incredibly overpriced. You may find yourself paying €50 for a pasta dish and a bottle of water, which is insane.
If you want to eat some real good typical food, you have to search for little restaurants with no great line outside, the ones that are called \"Trattoria\" and look old and outdated.
Fancy and tasty don\'t (always) follow the same path in Italy.
In a typical \"trattoria\" you\'re most likely to experience REAL Italian food, in huge portions, at very affordable prices, and you\'ll be surrounded by the typical Italian atmosphere with people speaking local dialect around you and the traditional Italian hospitality warming your heart up.
If you want a local guide to show you around the best \"trattorie\", feel free to reach out and I\'ll take you.
