Hi, I’m Shakema! Originally from the vibrant streets of Brooklyn, New York, I’ve called North Carolina home for the past 14 years. I’m a dressy, girly girl who’s all about embracing life’s adventures—whether it’s hitting up concerts, catching the latest movies, bowling strikes, or chilling in cozy lounges with smooth jazz, R&B, or fresh hip-hop and R&B vibes. I thrive on exploring: adventure parks get my adrenaline pumping, and I’m always down for travel, from state-hopping across the US to jetting off to new countries. Warm states are my jam, but I’m open to trying my hand at skiing for that thrill! Foodie at heart, I love discovering new eats while connecting with people. As a total social butterfly, I live for smiles, laughs, jokes, and those uplifting, money-making conversations that spark real connections. I’m genuinely open to new things and love getting introduced to fresh experiences—whether it’s learning about what you like to do, diving into new hobbies, or exploring unfamiliar territories together. I have a passion for learning in general; I read a lot of books, which has given me a broad range of knowledge and experiences. Plus, I enjoy getting to know people on a deeper level and helping out where I can. With my background in the medical field as a caregiver, along with experience in cleaning services, I’m great at offering support, empathy, and practical assistance. Then, let’s amp up the fun with some adventure: strike it big at bowling, laugh out loud at a comedy show, groove to live music while dancing the night away, or hit up a lounge for cocktails and vibes. After dinner, we could keep the energy going with mini-golf under the stars, a scenic night walk in a park, arcade games for that competitive thrill, or even karaoke to belt out our favorites.
