About me

Nice to meet you! I'm Alessandra, a Business Administrator who decided to change the office for the street. I specialized in Personal Travel and turned my passion for travel into work. I am a lover of history, books, sports, wine, and travel. I've traveled from north to south across Japan, and since 2015, I've been exploring this country I now call home.

A day with me includes

lively and relaxed

My vibe is light, fun, and full of energy! I like to turn every trip into a pleasurable discovery, mixing culture, good laughs, and great moments. I believe traveling is more than just seeing, it's about experiencing the place.

    Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building

On a trip, no one usually plans to visit a government building, right? But the Tokyo Government Building deserves to be on your itinerary.
The Government Building is one of the city\'s coolest free attractions — and offers one of the best views of Tokyo. It\'s located in Shinjuku and has several interesting things to do:
    1. There are two observatories in the north and south towers with free admission. The building is the fifth tallest in the city, offering a very cool view.
    2. There\'s a cafe and souvenir shops.
    3. The architecture and design resemble a modern cathedral.
    4. Every night, there\'s the Tokyo Night & Light light show, the world\'s largest permanent projection mapping display on a building. It\'s wonderful and free.

    Night bars

Beware of bars in the Kabukicho and Golden Gai area.
Some bars and nightclubs in this area engage in a scam known as \"bottakuri,\" in which customers are surprised with bills much higher than the initially agreed-upon amount.

In a typical case, the unfair charge is almost always accompanied by intimidation, threats, and even physical violence.
If someone approaches you on the street and insists on entering a bar, don\'t go. That\'s where the danger lies.

Tell us, how was your experience with this friend.

Write about your own experiences guiding as a Local Friend. You can write these on your own voice, relating the unique experiences you were able to give who was traveling with you. Example: "Last week, I guided a traveler from Spain who wanted to experience the city beyond the main attractions. We started with a quiet morning at a small coffee shop only locals know, then wandered through a street art alley where I could share the stories behind each mural. They told me it was their favorite part of the trip because it felt like discovering a secret side of the city, one they would have never found alone."
