Sobre esta Tip
The white concrete Montevideo sign stands on the Pocitos Rambla at República del Perú and Marco Bruto street, and a photo there is free. Go in the morning, when the sun is in front of the letters and the wait for your turn is short. The city keeps it painted white, though groups sometimes recolour it temporarily for a cause. Walk the Pocitos waterfront afterwards.
