About Solis Theatre
A visit to Montevideo really wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Teatro Solis. Teatro Solis is a real gem, a credit to Uruguay, and a fine example of Uruguayan history. There are regular performances at the Teatro Solis, including theatre, ballet, orchestra and comedy. You can check out their website for program information and details (at the moment, it is all in Spanish).<br>There are also guided tours which are a great opportunity to see the behind the scenes, and to get a taste of the history of this Montevideo icon. The tours are operated Tuesdays through to Sundays. The timetable below was extracted the website (hopefully it is current).
