Morning starts with a metro ride along the valley floor, then a red Metrocable cabin lifts you over hillsides of brick homes. By midday the bronze figures of Plaza Botero draw passersby, and a bandeja paisa lands on the table, piled high. Late afternoon belongs to Comuna 13, where outdoor escalators climb past murals and dancers.
Beyond the classic stops, the cable climbs on to the forest trails of Parque Arví. At night the crowd drifts to the terraces and bars of El Poblado. The weather stays springlike all year, with drier spells early and mid-year and showers in between. When your list runs out, a Local Friend knows which café, viewpoint or barrio should come next.
