“Om Shanti,” members of the Brahma Kumaris say to one another on the hill lanes, their everyday hello in their headquarters town. Late afternoon, families and friends drift down to Nakki Lake for a paddle boat, then walk up to Sunset Point to watch the Aravalli ridges turn orange together.
Away from the lake, the Dilwara Temples hide their carved marble behind plain walls, and the road climbs on to Guru Shikhar and the old fort at Achalgarh. Winters are cool and dry, July and August bring heavy rain, and summers stay milder than the plains. A Local Friend walks next to you on the lake paths and forest trails, so the route feels shared from the first step.
