One of the best hikes near the Gold Coast β and most people don't even know it exists. It's a 4km loop through real rainforest, with waterfalls you can actually walk behind. There's a natural swimming hole at the base β cold, but totally worth it on a hot day. Go early in the morning on a weekday to avoid crowds. After rain is the best time β the falls are much stronger and the forest looks amazing πΏ
β οΈ TRAP:
No public transport β you need a car to get there. Parking is very limited, especially on weekends. The trail can be slippery when wet, so wear proper shoes (not sandals or thongs). Don't forget insect repellent β leeches are real, especially after rain π
