Hello! My name is Rebecca Hubbard, and I was born and raised in the US Pacific Northwest. I went to Portland State University and graduated with my BA in Community Health Education. About Natural Beauty
Combine your love for the outdoors and art by experiencing this picturesque view Mother Nature has painted for us! This trailhead is located about 55 miles (88 km) east of Portland. It takes about an hour and 15 minutes to get there, and as you can see, the drive is well worth the breathtaking view of Mount Hood. The hike itself is a 4.2 mile loop (6.7 km) and it takes close to 2 hours to complete. It’s not especially grueling but could be somewhat challenging for the inexperienced.
