Hello, I'm Miranda, a former journalist and a Ph.D. candidate. I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and I love to share my local knowledge and experiences with travelers and other local friends. I'm a passionate and adventurous person who enjoys a variety of hobbies and interests. I'm always curious and eager to learn new things and improve myself.

I'm also a friendly, open-minded, and empathetic person who can communicate well with anyone. I have incredible communication skills and I know what to ask to make you feel comfortable and understood. My soft skill is empathy, which means I can relate to your emotions and perspectives. I love to talk about life, memories, plans, and experiences, but I also respect your privacy and boundaries. I'm here to support you, not to judge you.

I have visited a lot of places and I have a long bucket list of destinations I want to see. I'm passionate about traveling and learning about different cultures and lifestyles. I can give you some local tips and recommendations on where to go, what to do, and what to eat in Ottawa and other places I have been to. I can also show you some of my favorite places and activities in my city, such as the Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal, the ByWard Market, the Canadian Museum of History, and the Gatineau Park, Algonquin Park is my favorite.
