The experience of ancient Greek and Roman baths in NYC! Aire Ancient Baths is one of the top get-aways in the city.
They offer a variety of water induced relaxation sessions ranging from the hottest water at 102ºF, to the super cold water pools that can go down below 46ºF.
We love their newest treatment called Red Wine Baths. We all know that grapes are huge antioxidants.
If you are eating at a restaurant and you notice someone keeps switching tables, it isn't because they are unhappy with their table. It's because they are looking for unzipped purses or bags they can quickly grab and run. Also be cautious of people putting their belongings too close to yours. They may use a jacket or a coat to cover your bag, camera, whatever and then pick up your things with the coat/jacket without you noticing. At places like fast food restaurants and places with lots of traffic inside, I always eat with my purse on my lap and my camera around my neck. I also have a steel-reinforced strap for my camera.
We love Beco, a super cool, low-key Brazilian spot in Williamsburg. The team is great: Henrique, Ale, Anita, Luiz...
It’s a small place, but they have an outdoor area, with Brazilian & Latin tunes.
For brunch try the Eggs Florentine. Also the famous Rabanada: French toast w/baguette, cinnamon & sugar, mixed berries, & maple syrup, served w/choice of bacon, linguiça or turkey bacon.
Cash only!
Gurney’s Montauk Resort and Seawater Spa is 2.5h away from Manhattan, almost at the very tip of the Long Island peninsula.
The suites are beautiful, with a sophisticated and clean decor – be sure to ask for the ocean view.
Some of the coolest people go there to escape the crazy Hampton's lifestyle, even though it's just around the "corner" from all the parties!
Enjoy some "upscale" down time.
Brooklyn Boulders is one of the greatest workouts to have a bit of downtime from the city. They offer a great 22,000sqft space for rock climbing since 2009.
They’ve added Augmented Reality to their menu of classes!
How it works? There are projections on the walls that create a videogame experience for the climbers. The objective is to touch each projection – or target – as fast as possible.

The Ludlow Hotel launched in the end of 2014 and in no time was considered “the place to stay” in town!
You'll probably bump into some of the trendiest folks on the planet, since their bar is also a hang out spot!
The Dirty French restaurant offers a French cuisine mixing the classic french recipes with modern tastes and techniques. Note: their reservations are taken with 1 month in advance.
If you want a fully immersed in Asian cultures experience, don't go to Manhattan, take the 7 train to the last stop in Queens, go upstairs and you'll realize you've been transported to somewhere very different. Almost everyone on the streets are Asian and a ton of different Asian languages are being spoken. It's called "Chinatown" however it should (IMO) be called "Asiatown". You can find tons of Korean beauty stores, all sorts of Chinese-owned businesses and as of late, Japanese stores such as Daiso, the Japanese chain $1.99 store. I love going to Flushing because it's like a vacation to a foreign land without leaving NYC. When I first started visiting about 12 years ago I would literally be the only non-Asian person you could find despite the throngs of people. Now more non-Asian people are discovering this gem and you see more colors of people in the mix, however, not a lot. And you can get anything you want in THIS Chinatown without someone asking you if you want counterfeit purses or counterfeit perfumes every two seconds.
An emmersive theatre experience in a extraordinary place : The McKittrick Hotel.
Completed in 1939, The McKittrick Hotel was intended to be New York City’s finest and most decadent luxury hotel of its time. Six weeks before opening, and two days after the outbreak of World War II, the legendary hotel was condemned and left locked, permanently sealed from the public. Until now…
Cherry Lane Theatre was founded in 1924 and is known as the longest continuously Off-Broadway theatre in New York City!
It's located in the super trendy neighborhood called Greenwich Village, in Manhattan.
The space is today the home – and “lab”, as they explain – of new American works.
They also continue hosting amazing ground-breaking productions.
Have fun!

Great alcoholic/non-alcoholic cider. Meet new friends, plan a party, or just enjoy a picnic outside. Can bring your own booze & food. If not then enjoy the variety of food trucks that stay stationed outside of the brewery. The location is in Farhills NJ.
This restaurant in Greenpoint, located at the far tip of Brooklyn, is one of our favorites!
Milk & Roses offers a fine American cuisine with a Southern Italian influence, in a fantastic, low back environment.
The best part of it is that... in the back they have a gorgeous garden!
Plus, all the ingredients are carefully sourced and they make sure they come from the best suppliers on the market.

Your captain will narrate the sights along the way!Navegue e conheca a parte alta do Rio Hudson, comecando em Newburg.Nosso capitao descrevera todos os pontos turisticos ao longo da viagem.
Luca and Georgia founded the Epistrophy in 2005 – a restaurant with Sardinian-inspired recipes.
I love the Quinoa Salad with kale, beet, squash, chickpea, avocado and radish; the Avocado Toast; Vegan pasta with vegetables and a banana muffin with fruits.
The coolest thing: every 1st Sunday, Luca himself plays Jazz for his guests! How cool is it to have the owner himself play music for you!?

Urban Cowboy is one of the coolest B&B’s (Bed & Breakfast) you’ll ever find!
The décor is rustic and intimate at the same time, making you feel you’re at home - or at least, at a friend’s place. Every detail is intriguing, done with much love, but effortless at the same time, which definitely gives it a twist.
We just love the concept of this B&B, where you get to meet the other guests.

The new hotspot in New York City is called Kola House!
With American dishes and great artisanal cocktails, they recently launched in the Meatpacking District.
The house also organizes great events related to Art, Fashion and Music, and that is the best part of it all! The parties are always the must-go in the city, so check their website for more information.
With one of the most astounding views of the Manhattan skyline, The Brooklyn Barge is one of our favorite go-to spots.
The place is totally off-the-beaten-track, just like we love. Even getting there is an adventure, making this one of Greenpoint’s gems.
During the summer, along the day they offer super cool Kayak and Stand Up Paddle Boarding lessons. It happens from 10am – sunset.
One of the best places to visit in NY, if you’re into great music, a great selection of books and magazines, delicious coffee and drinks, plus… if you’re a vinyl lover, or collector, is Rough Trade.
You’ll find everything from old all-time favorites, to new, upcoming artists and great hits.
A vast variety of musical instruments and accessories are found around the store too.

Founded by Daniel Preston, Widow Jane Distillery in Red Hook was created based on the love and appreciation for whiskey his grandfather had.
He produces the only US whiskey that is totally GMO free throughout the entire process. From “the enzymes used in the fermentation to the grains used in the mash.”
They have fantastic tours and tastings, that are a great option for a weekend activity!
If you are walking through Lafayette Street, in SoHo, and see a little door saying “The Ship NYC”, do walk in and you’ll surely have a pleasant surprise! They will take you on a journey.
Their menu is great and their cocktails even better! The “Bartender’s Choice” is always a good pick if you’re the adventurous type.
Try the slow cooked octopus with celery root puree, horseradish and sunomono.
Candlelit tables, plush velvet banquets, antique chandeliers, and an historic full-length bar create a real jazz vibe. Smoke also serves the perfect complement to classic jazz— soulful American cuisine. Mesas aluz de velas, bancos de veludo. lustres antigos e um longo bar criam a "jazz vibe". Complementando o ambiente a "Soulful" gastronomia americana.
You'll see plenty of stores in Chinatown in Manhattan selling all sorts of designer perfumes. DON'T BUY THEM! They have been found to have such disgusting things in them as human urine! But NONE of them are genuine. I know a couple of places to get perfumes at a slight discount, but if it seems too good to be true, it is. However, the counterfeit bags are often well made. If you are considering buying one, I can help you know if the bag itself is a quality one or not. It will NOT be a DESIGNER bag. It will be counterfeit.
I absolutely love a low key neighborhood called Fort Greene.
It boasts an amazing ambience – from the decor, to the menu – everything is first class.
Drinks are fantastic - ask for Taja to make you the best ginger caipirinha. You will not regret it!
We enjoyed both a carnivorous and vegetarian modern Thai menu. To die for!
For dessert: poached pear with vanilla ice cream & pandan sauce.
