About me

My name is Kathey and I’m 25 years old.
I was born in Wiesbaden and I am originally Chinese.
Im doing my master in business administration and marketing at the Goethe university in Frankfurt.

As a passionate travel- and foodblogger I love traveling around the world, exploring new places, getting to know new people and especially their food culture.
Two months ago I started to organise my own foodtours where we go to 5 local insider restaurants where we share chosen dishes that are recommended by me.
It‘s called Sharing Plate ( also check it out on Instagram @sharingplate or my website www.sharing-plate.com)
Food is not only food for me, it's the ingredient that binds people together. Different food cultures let people socialize through food.
In our world today of multiculturalism there are so many dishes and foodspots to explore. Life is too just to try one.
So join me on a culinary journey and explore the world of tastes through my eyes!

Tell us, how was your experience with this friend.

Write about your own experiences guiding as a Local Friend. You can write these on your own voice, relating the unique experiences you were able to give who was traveling with you. Example: "Last week, I guided a traveler from Spain who wanted to experience the city beyond the main attractions. We started with a quiet morning at a small coffee shop only locals know, then wandered through a street art alley where I could share the stories behind each mural. They told me it was their favorite part of the trip because it felt like discovering a secret side of the city, one they would have never found alone."
