Páramos are one of Colombia's most unique ecosystems high-altitude wetlands found almost nowhere else on Earth, home to the otherworldly frailejones and misty landscapes that feel like walking through the clouds. Chingaza, just outside Bogotá, is one of the best-preserved páramos in the country and actually supplies most of the city's drinking water. I'd love for you to come explore it with me the lakes, the wildlife, and that surreal, otherworldly scenery are unlike anything else. Want to join us for a day trip up there?
