From a fishing village to the country's main port, the area was also a gateway and home for slaves, giving the region the nickname “Little Africa”, due to the number of black people who lived there." If you are visiting Rio you need to go to this place, there you will find a great backdrop for taking photos, our beauty on rails - The VLT, great restaurants and museums around and lots of culture.
