Growing up in the South, I love being able to leave the city and sink into the calm of Long Island. Whether you want to hit the fairways (yes, I golf), cast a line for some fishing, or simply breathe in the salt air, I'll take you there. But don't worry, with me the arts never stay far behind. Long Island is rich with cultural treasures that most people overlook. I love showing friends the stunning Gilded Age mansions where art, history, architecture, and gorgeous grounds collide. There are also smaller gallery spaces, outdoor sculpture parks, and local theater productions that feel intimate and special. Unlike the city's frantic energy, out here we sip wine slowly, wander through golden hour gardens, and let art meet nature.
