The Mega Cavern is a 4,000,000 square foot (370,000 m2) structure located in Louisville, Kentucky. About 75–100 feet (23–30 m) underground, the cave stretches under parts of the Watterson Expressway and the Louisville Zoo.
The tour ventures through several of the 17 miles of corridors that wind their way beneath the city of Louisville and include highlights such as viewing early cavern formations, exploring a historic replica of a fallout bunker from the Cold War, and checking out a worm recycling and tasting room.Nov 23, 2019
