About me

I’m a visual artist and work in the fields of photography, video, and creative writing. I have also worked as an interpreter, as I enjoy serving as a bridge for people in need. I’m a good listener and love to travel, going outdoors, and showcase Lima city: from the center to the periphery, depending on what you would like to visit. I can take my camera and be your photographer for the day. We can also have a calmer walk and introduce you to Lima's best food spots to enjoy. Feel free to DM me before a meeting so we can narrow down what you need. Best wishes on your trip!

A day with me includes

Walking tours, sea adventure tours, main districts visits, culinary experiences

I can take my camera if you want professional pictures from your visit. Here are some options I have thought of that we can rearrange depending on your interests: First daytime option: Local tour of downtown Lima. Visit to ancient churches with catacombs and lunch, if desired, at a landmark restaurant in the city center. Afterwards, we can go to Café Bar Maury to taste the best pisco sour in Peru or have a coffee. Second option: Walk through the bohemian neighborhood of Barranco. We can sample seafood at “Cevichería El Muelle” before continuing our tour of local cafes and Peruvian art shops. Visiting the main huaca sites (pre-Hispanic archaeological sites and ceremonial centers made of adobe pyramids) is very nice. The main Huaca is in Miraflores, close to the Barranco district. A third option for a daytime outing is "La Punta, Callao", where we can tour the islands by catamaran and, if you feel like it, swim with the sea lions. A sailor supervises the visit. The cost of the trip is affordable. Afterwards, we can have lunch at the famous cevicherías (Peruvian seafood restaurants) in the area. If you want to go out at night, I can get tickets to the theater or cinema, according to your preferences, and/or book a space for dinner. If you want to experience Lima's nightlife, we can head to the typical bars of Miraflores and Barranco. For a more underground experience, there are very nice local band concerts between downtown Lima and the Lince districts.

Tell us, how was your experience with this friend.

Write about your own experiences guiding as a Local Friend. You can write these on your own voice, relating the unique experiences you were able to give who was traveling with you. Example: "Last week, I guided a traveler from Spain who wanted to experience the city beyond the main attractions. We started with a quiet morning at a small coffee shop only locals know, then wandered through a street art alley where I could share the stories behind each mural. They told me it was their favorite part of the trip because it felt like discovering a secret side of the city, one they would have never found alone."
